The car is sharp Chris! Keep the photos coming. By the way, the steering wheel is different than I've seen in other 85-86 cars is that with cruise? Getting more familiar with these cars so I'm asking!

It seems like most '85/6 SSPs were ordered without cruise, however, if they were, that wheel is the correct wheel for '85/6. The later cars had the cruise control in vertical configuration.

None of my radioshacks had the NMO mount, but I ordered one yesterday from their website. Should have it tomorrow hopefully, and it will get mounted asap! Thank you again!

Trunk lip mounting or through the sheetmetal? I keep a few of those around as a habit since I know that I'll need them at some point and the Shack doesn't normally carry those but my local ham shop does!
