I don't know where the cut off period is...but I got my much anticipated reply from the California DMV today:
"The information you requested is out of the department's retention period (too old)." Attached was my check, returned, un-cashed, along with the application I mailed. I can't win for losing. Marti Reports couldn't find the Eminger Invoice for my car, either. Robert seems to be my only hope now to get the assignment card. *sigh* These '82s are extremely difficult ponies!! Greg
