That's what I'm doing with my 85 CHP. A previous owner added the larger 11" 87-up front brakes, and the suspension was beefed up as well. Since I like to drive it so much, I plan to keep it as a better-than-stock driver, without going to far that the car couldn't easily be put back to stock. Yeah that's pretty much what I plan on doing. I want to try and find out some more info about the car. What's a good starting point? Contacting the CHP? My GF's friend's BF is a police officer but not CHP but I was gonna see if he might be able to ask them or something.
