Received this message today from the Border Patrol Museum Board President. Sounds like it has been restored and will be back on display at the museum soon.

It had sat in a lot in Tucson for a number of years but, perhaps two years ago, the Lordsburg Border Patrol Station asked if they could retrieve the vehicle, recondition it and use it as a recruiting tool with the understanding they would return it to the Museum upon completion of their recruiting mission. It is my understanding they have completed the restoration and are wanting to return it to the Museum.
Since we already have one of the original three vehicles that were purchased as part of this pursuit vehicle program we would like to have the Mustang to complement the Firebird.
