Yeah, even longer shot for me. At least you'll have nice weather to drive down from your place, no telling up here.
My old Graves partner in Westminster and his CHP buddy are putting this on.
( The one in the SSP Article that I am still waiting for a copy of )

The pressure is on me to make it down there. lol

Now you know why my car is on the flyer lol
I'm making the banners and staff t-shirts for the event.

It should be fun. Old Eric might be there, we'll see.
Suppose to be a surprise guest or two.

Any of you SoCal SSP owners, make this one ! It's close by. Cars finished or not !! If I'm towing mine down from Oregon, a few miles drive for you guys is easy !
Would be good to meet you guys anyway !

Thanks for posting the show, Hodge. The 9th of December is a Sunday and we'd love to see a few of you make the drive with your Mustangs! We already have a pretty good group of vintage squad cars signed up and hope to get more as the show date approaches. Quite a few Chippies from my(and John 10608) old office will be there. Its for a great cause(the 11-99 Foundation and ChiPs for KIDS).

As an aside, I drove the first 82 Mustangs into the area and was the officer assigned to do check out rides with officers wanting to drive the manual trans Mustangs on duty. I gave a number of magazines ride-alongs in the Mustangs and drove only Mustangs for years(including graveyard shift!).
I purchased a number of run-outs over the years and they were always great cars. I was featured in the Camaro vs Mustang special edition magazine produced by Road&Track-yeah, Hodge, copies are heading your way. I even ran a fully equipped CHP Mustang in an auto cross held in conjunction with the Long Beach Grand Prix(allegedly )

Our show now has its website up-hope to see some of you there!

Ha!

yes, I'll be having some of the Westminster officers drive a few of my cars to the show. I'll be bringing some of the "units" to the office over the next few weeks. Will drive one of the cars myself and haven't decided which of the race cars to tow. Plenty of space at the show for trailers, etc for those that tow.
