LX coupes were the only model in 1986 that did not have a console as standard equipment.
LX hatchbacks and convertibles did. GT hatchbacks and convertibles did. SVO hatchbacks did. You had to specifically order the optional console in an LX coupe. And I believe it was designated by a "C" on the build sheet on line D, position 38.
