...on its first drive in 4 years

Sadly, I did not get to go as my dad didnt tell me he was going to drive it.
He didnt go far as the car still doesnt run good, put it in 2nd and the car would want to die. But it does start and move around:thumbs up:

Kinda has the same ride height as Rich's 85. I like it

First bath in 4 years

The one bottle looks like rubbing alcohol (which also can be used for fuel line freeze up prevention depending on the % and as an antiseptic too). Car looks great on the road there Sam!! Don't worry... won't be long and it will be running around with you in a short while!

if the bolts are on the passenger side below the back seat it could be like mine was with a bolt that stuck out where the handcuffed the prisoner to

There is one on both sides of the car. My dads 89 CHP EVOC has them too.

The stubbier bottle might be water(?). The brand is McGaw, and there is a liquid amount scale on the other side (up to 500 mililiters).
That is my plan with the box, other wise I will get measurements for the compartments off another box and what I have to make a new one (with same wood and staples).
Thanks for the info!

Yep, eye bolt for handcuff lanyard attachment. Interesting you have two as I've only ever seen or heard of one of those per car and always on the passenger side as the front seat was the usual spot to put those wearing cuffs. That's where my car has it.

Here's the lanyard:

Just checked the EVOC car, I for got it didn't have any.
Are those straps hard to get? How would they mount/be used?

Wow! after seeing how you washed it, my car hasn't been washed for 7+ years... but doesn't have green slime but DIRTY! Nice to see it being driven... hope you guys fix the stalling issue, it could be bad gas tank or fuel pump or fuel filter...

I am going to rebuild the original carb and give the engine a tune up. My plan is to still redo the interior here soon, and get the car running good enough to drive. After that I will possibly do a full suspension/mechanical overhaul- repaint/clean everything, add new bushings to the suspention, and go through the engine installing new gasquets. Then in the spring start on body and paint.
