That's the one that got away from me came from Seattle area and was bought and shipped to Chicago before I could deal on it. Talked to the buyer later and he had sold it soon after and didn't know where it was at. Glad to see it's alive yet, was the vin# after mine and guessing would been in same batch of 29 cars that was ordered with mine. Looks different now for sure, Would be neat to have it but until it gets closer I'll hold off buying it... LOL

Cool info, paper work I found in trunk of my 84 says there was a batch of 29 ordered. Must have split up the order into couple of groups of VIN#....

That's interesting......since you have the special parts list, showing the number of cars ordered, we'd expect to see at least that many in the consecutive VIN list. The other confirmed OR cars are in a batch of 20, so there's a extra few mixed in there somewhere.

An example....my list shows an order of 6 for the '83 CSP cars. The consecutive VIN list shows the 6 in a group of 76 coupes. We know from the list, the agency, and the pics that 6 is the number for CSP that year. Stew Jones' info puts the car, as optioned, as 1 of 12. So, the other coupes right after these were probably some other color combination, and the cars on either end, or between orders, could have been randomly produced regular production in succession.

Hate to hijack this thread but also have a factory 'weighing card' with my car's VIN on it and hand written on the back it says "Keys to State Tempo 9058 fit this car". Any chance the batch order of 29 included some Tempos or other makes ?? or possible some Washington State SSP's ?? Has anyone else ever found these cards for their SSP's ?
