Been there, done that. Went to change a battery cable one morning and before I know it I was doing a head swap... Too many Red Bulls will do that to you....

Thanks so much! The blue came out brighter than I thought it would, but now I cant wait to paint the rest of the car. seeing the other regatta blues keeps me encouraged to finish this. I started detailing some stuff and I am putting it back on now.
I love painting. used to do it for a living 25 years ago. now it is just a hobby. (and hard on the ol body) 86nessp, I am still trying to piece together clues about where my car served, all I know is it served in a local agency here in AZ. All documentation has been purged at the MVD and carfax said it transferred to a new owner in 2003. The only clue is a G.R.E.A.T. key fob I found under the seat. I am praying for a build sheet when I pull the interior apart. I will post some more pics as the progress continues.
