I used Next-Day to bring my CSP to south tx last week .
It was all good until the driver had truck issues 4hrs from here and left my car at a storage yard and NO one called to tell me !
I got the car 24hrs later after i pitched a big fit !

the same company delivered my USPS car from LA to Tx , no issues ! it was 2 days early that time .

I did the U-haul form of transporting in a snowstorm across route 80 on New Years Eve...made for a very interesting trip with no issues and great memories. If you can find the time and can make the trip with a friend...$49.00 a day is the way to go, you know the guy loading the car also cares for it as well. I just recommend a set of ratchet tie down straps in addition to the sling ones that come with the trailer that go over the front wheels. I can tell you nothing beats a good road trip!

Default ** NEVER ** use Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS) !!!

I called on 1/27/10 to have a car moved from California to New York. It was supposed to arrive in NY on or before the 15th of February, today is the 23th NO CAR !!! It sat at a terminal in California for 10 days before being loaded, then it sat in a terminal in Wyoming for two more days, it made it to Illonois where it sat for 5 more days in another terminal. As of right now it is sitting at a terminal in Rhode Island !!! When I placed the order I was told it would leave California and would be on ONE truck to the East Coast - How about sitting in three terminals and 5 trucks later and still NO car. After conversation tonight they told me it's in process but there is NO arrival date.

I know that this company has another meaning to the word DEPENDABLE !!! Do yourself a favor and NEVER give this company consideration - I am learning the hard way !!!

I've had pretty good luck with Randy at AAAllstates. I realize that he is a broker, but pretty much everyone he's hooked me up with has been AOK, and all door-to-door deliveries with none of this "depot" stuff. Some were regular car-carriers, and others were smaller trailers pulled by pickups.

I've decided to go with Larry's Auto Transport out of Oregon. They are a both a broker and a transporter. I talked with a guy that has used Larry's over 20 times without a single issue, which sealed the deal for me. Almost went with DAS, but after talking with Larry's I felt comfortable with them. We'll see how it goes....
