There are a lot of whacker/wannabe's all over the "restored" police car hobby. I'm taking my SSP to my first police car only show in May. Hopefully won't be any losers there...like the guy who delivers pizza for a living and tools around in a "restored" 2005 Crown Vic with lights in every corner.

At least he had (I suppose) a legitimate need for e-lights. I was talking about the people who have no affiliation with any part of public safety but deck their cars out with tons of strobes and LED's.

![]() The late-model CVPI crowd. Even better...move out to Texas, they are everywhere. I even saw a Hyundai not too long ago with a red/blue lightbar on it. Officers here are allowed to outfit and use their POVs for extra-duty jobs, and I'm sure the volunteer fire guys and gals do the same, too. People here don't really get out of the way for regular e-vehicles, so I really can't imagine someone using their POV for any type of actual response.
