I do not always comment when I add SSPs to the Project. We are roughly 10 cars away from crossing the 3,200 mark. I haven't ordered any Marti Reports in a while, but I may order a couple to lock in the range of Nevada SSPs for 1986, as discussed here:

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...4&postcount=69

By ordering 2 reports, we can add 9 more cars to the Project. That should be a pretty good bang for the buck!

Very cool! We only have two of those SSPs confirmed in that batch of VINs. Can you attach a photo of your VIN label (or any other documentation) please? If you have any issues with that, my email is mm750[at]comcast[dot]net in case you prefer to email me photos. We will gladly add your SSP to the Project!

Nice documentation for HF170655. I see 11 P40E VINs and unit numbers there.

If I am looking at the VINs on the CTSP documentation correctly, what is currently this:

1FABP40E4HF170643
1FABP40E6HF170644
1FABP40E8HF170645
1FABP40EXHF170646
1FABP40E1HF170647
1FABP40E3HF170648
1FABP40E5HF170649
1FABP40E1HF170650
------------8------------

1FABP40E5HF170652
1FABP40E7HF170653
1FABP40E9HF170654
1FABP40E0HF170655 - Connecticut State Police
1FABP40E2HF170656
1FABP40E4HF170657
1FABP40E6HF170658
1FABP40E8HF170659
1FABP40E4HF170660
------------9------------

...should be this:

1FABP40E4HF170643
1FABP40E6HF170644
1FABP40E8HF170645
1FABP40EXHF170646
1FABP40E1HF170647
1FABP40E3HF170648
1FABP40E5HF170649
1FABP40E1HF170650 Connecticut State Police #87-120
1FABP40E3HF170651 Connecticut State Police #87-119
1FABP40E5HF170652 Connecticut State Police #87-118
1FABP40E7HF170653 Connecticut State Police #87-117

1FABP40E0HF170655 Connecticut State Police #87-112
1FABP40E2HF170656 Connecticut State Police #87-111
1FABP40E4HF170657 Connecticut State Police #87-110
1FABP40E6HF170658 Connecticut State Police #87-116
1FABP40E8HF170659 Connecticut State Police #87-115
1FABP40E4HF170660 Connecticut State Police #87-113

HF170651 does not have any records for any body/engine combo, that is why it is not in the VIN Project now.

We've added a few recently, but this one submitted by Jonathon was worth mentioning -

Mick, thank you for providing the correction to the VIN data. I have changed the 1987 VIN page, and used the documentation from HF170655 to create pages for the other cars that were listed. Here is one example of the new pages, which include a clear listing of the data that I prepared in Excel -

Thanks again for your help!

It's been a while since we've added a 1982 CHP to the Project -

http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info213105.htm

Note, there are over 3,200 documented SSPs in the VIN Project at this point, and that only counts the 27 CHP cars from 1982 which are well-documented, not the entire batch of those VINs! We would be over 3,500 cars if we counted all of those too! 'Not bragging - just proud!

Default SSP Paint

Is there any way to find out what "from the factory" color was the least used on a SSP or what colors were never used (or not an option/available) on a SSP in a particular year? I would guess that "Almond" & "Tropical Yellow" were probably never used in 1989 (or any other year), but I could be wrong.

Kevin Marti MAY be able to shed some light on this, but his time costs money. I am not sure about Tropical Yellow, but we have seen a 1989 GSA car turn up in Almond -
