Here's door sticker from that alleged GSP. It turns out it is not a GSP. But it can be added to VIN PROJECT :-)

What is it then (or what was it intended to be originally)? Are the buck tags available?
There is one in the VIN Project in the same group, four VINs later (LF147192), that was allegedly "never in service", different DSO # (21-0044), identified only as "Georgia". http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info147192.htm |

It must have been ordered by the State of Georgia for some unknown usage. There are a pair of 1985 SSPs towards the end of the VIN list where one was marked on the build sheet as "CALIFORNIA", as seen here:
http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info247583.htm That car is not a CHP unit, but the State of California bought it for some unknown reason. This wrecked car may also be a similar situation. If the owner cannot find the buck tags, then we will need to add it to our list of VINs for Marti Reports. ![]()

As discussed in the part-out thread (which will eventually roll over to subsequent pages in the section as new posts are made), we rec'd a photo of the Buck Tags and were able to confirm the above 1990 State of Georgia car as a SSP -
http://www.specialservicemustang.net...63&postcount=7 As an aside, each time we add a SSP I increase the number listed at the bottom left corner on that year's page of VINs. I just added up the numbers and we now have 2,635 SSP Mustangs documented in our VIN Project. ![]() |

Got ahold of some old DOAS papers so until I get permission to release the complete documents I have we can add these 88's as they are from a different source :-)

Page three;
I've been promised more as they turn up so cross your fingers. I'm always exploring different sources and avenues for more history on the GSP's. :-) |

AWESOME stuff!!!
![]() EDIT: Of the 14 SSPs on those three pages, two of them were already in our VIN Project: http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info225774.htm http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info225775.htm So we were able to add the permanent numbers to those cars and include the DOAS paperwork for each VIN. I will add the other 12 GSPs as time allows during the holidays. ![]()
