Rebuilding Original Motor vs Swapping Long Blocks
I am restoring a 1993 SSP. The motor is out and it will be a few months to rebuild it. Is it worth the extra expense to keep the original motor in the car or will swapping in a crate motor decrease the value? Thans

For me, I would need to know more about your SSP, extent to which the history of the specific car is documented and how you intend to restore and use it.

the last 6 of the vin should be stamped on the top in the rear of the original block. Having the original block is very important to a lot of people. Especially those that are storing a car and wanting it original.
