I think you're right...good illustration of how they were taped off and the black sprayed.

Actually, the owner had a picture of the car as he bought it from auction and was completely marked with no mess on the paint. The most it had was a red spray painted line across the "State Trooper" and a red spray painted "X" on the seal. I hope he registers and posts that picture. Other than that, the car looked in service when he bought it. He is not in Law Enforcement, in case anyone was wondering.

What a rolling artifact...great find Marcos! Gives hope that there are still many original condition SSPs out there yet to be discovered.
