Happy to hear that you were finally able to make the deal. Congrats! Here is the new page for your 86 Nevada SSP -

I really appreciate it Bill!

I plan to order a Marti report on it real soon so I'll post it for you to add to the project when I get it.

Thumbs up

Hello again everyone, my 1993 CHP Mustang will be completed with its new black and white paint job like it once had. Once I figure out how to reformat some progress photos to the correct size photos of the car I will post them
I have a unit number of 1543 that's was written on the driver door after the car was repainted. I'm not 100% sure that this number is correct and with out a unit card I'm having trouble varifying it's accurate unit number. I ran the vin # 1FACP40E7PF189089 through a website called Auto check and no results of an E Plate resulted. Does anyone know of what form is required to check its history through the California Department of Motor Vehicles or another avenue to take.Any help or information will be greatly appreciated.

Bill,
Here is the 1991 Dawsonville sheriff's car, which was originally a GSP that I was telling you about. Ran across these pic's with Perm # still clearly visible on both core support and fan shroud in one. Just another to add to Vin Project !

Chris emailed me some pictures of a 1988 TxDPS Mustang that we already had in our Project using auction records. The car now resides in a pick&pull, never to see the street again, as seen in the photos that were added to the car's page -

I look forward to seeing pictures of your newly painted SSP. A unit number of 1543 is consistent with other CHPs from that batch of VINs. The plate number was most likely E881543. I did not have any luck with the California smog site for that plate number, but I have attached a screenshot of the data for your VIN.

Here is a thread where we discussed the California DMV title history -
