CHP whip antennas have a small " ball " at the tip of the antenna, not a elongated type tip. It's a round ball approx. 1/4" in diameter.
In the SSP tech. info section, it has the part code # and manufacture of the whip antennas. A copy of the specs of the antennas. If that helps any. I found the spring at a truck parts house, but not the mounting ball.
