After a 5 hour round-trip drive, I have arrived back home with the bag 'o stuff (paperwork) and some much needed parts for the 85.
Good news: I have quite a few CHP docs which are awesome to see. Bad news: Most of the records are from the owner that bought the car in 88. (Which is not a bad thing) I was under the impression that the paperwork was all from the CHP. Also, looks like the guy who bought it was NOT the chippie that drove it and there are no in-service pics in the stash 'o stuff.  I do have some highlights though to share: CHP DMV Registration card - Notice it was issued on 9/19/85, but the car was not placed into service until 5/6/1986:  CHP Maintenance log - Page 1:  Notice how the engine was replaced at 7K miles. And...get ready for it...the driver's seatback was replaced no less than 5 times!! Wow, must have been a large framed CHP officer.  CHP Maintenance Log - Page 2:  CHP Maintenance Log - Page 3:
