Looks like the Trooper who was assigned to my car at the time (Earl Brown) is now an FHP Lieutenant in Troop L.

I'll take a shot at writing him a letter and see what happens. Will be fun to see if I hear back from him. I was fortunate enough to meet the Missouri State Trooper who was assigned to my 93 Missouri State Highway Patrol Mustang SSP.

Those photos are a resto treasure trove, unbelieveable! (Although I don't know if I'd ever have the guts to mount a speaker to the front bumper like that again....eeks, what a bad idea that was.)

lol....yeh the speaker is kinda.....uhhhhh....not so attractive. However it is what it is. Depending on how specific you want to be with the restoration. I think I would opt to put it under the bumper cover like they did on the unmarked cars.
I just called FHP. They are sending me the 20 photos they have of my 1987 unit #1564. It was involved in a crash in 1989. I am interested to see how this car was equipped. I also have the name of the trooper that was driving it. I need to try and locate him also.
