Default Exhaust Replacement Options

After one more show this upcoming weekend, I'll be putting #3035 into winter (for what that is out here... ) maintainance mode and I'm lining up those projects right now.

Here's the first one up...while some think my car sounds mean, I feel it's just because the original stock mufflers have seen better days. The car is noticably louder than it should be and the tailpipes are looking a bit ragged too. I'm seeking feedback on what the options are for replacing the mufflers and tails with stock performing and appearance items. NOS pieces are pricey and rare so I'm open to all suggestions but I want the car to remain as close to stock looking and sounding as possible. Thanks for sharing your experiences and recommendations!
