Thanks for the input. I definitely plan to get the engine refreshed and there are a few interior parts to get it looking right. I do enjoy the conversations that the patina car draws. A few people have warned me along the way, it’s only original once. Most importantly, I love that the kids enjoy playing in it. I don’t know that I would be as care free if it went nut/bolt resto (to your point). I want to enjoy and share the car. Realistically, I don’t have the money for the nut/bolt resto anyway. Maybe some rust mitigation in the future and possibly try to source the in-service equipment as I come across it. Thanks again! This community is always welcoming and helpful.
