Mike,
Congrats !!! I am happy for you ! Now you'll need to start a small business like I did to stay busy and pay for mustang parts and toys etc. HA !!

Happy for you ! Talk to you soon !

Thanks for all the well wishes folks! :)

I got to sleep in for a whole extra hour today but then it was back to work on getting my house ready to sell. I'm leaving the magnificent coast and moving up to the beautiful wine country north of SF where a nice ranch-ette awaits. Scooping up more Mustangs and toys is sure tempting...there is already a three-car garage there and plenty of room to add whatever other building I want (as long as it's big enough for the tractor too). So the new adventure begins....soon!

Congratulations, more time to work on Mustangs. I still have a good 5 years to go.

Well, less than a month into retirement now and I've managed to get my house on the market and under contract and to start arranging the move to the new home in Sonoma County.

Starting last Thursday I was happy to catch a break from all that business and jump into the Bullitt Mustang with my lovely girlfriend Suzanne and head up to SF for a 45th anniversary celebration of the movie Bullitt. One of the weekend highlights included retracing most of the chase route from the film over the hairiest hills of the city with over 20 other Bullitt Mustangs of all vintages and a few black '68 Chargers in the group all with police escort. Unbelievable terror and fun!

Me coming down Lombard Street. Not part of the chase route but who could could resist the photo-op?

Anyway, we snuck out of the Saturday car show early and drove up to Lake Tahoe where we got married under the light of the super moon rising over the Tahoe Basin. This has been a memorable month for sure!

Ha-ha, good one Bill but having just finished bachelorhood the second time around I firmly believe I'm getting more than I'm giving up this time around. She's a professional driver, decent mechanic, Mustang fanatic (has owned more of 'em than me) and still cleans up real nice. Yeah, she's a keeper! :)
