Thanks guys! I stumbled on an individual on Facebook who was selling a similar set, but the dimensions were wrong for a Mustang. I provided him with some measurements and he passed them along to the individual that printed his. These were on my door step in three weeks! :2thumbs:

FHP's Alive Alive campaign is alive and well -

I was reading that earlier today on Facebook. Not a bad article, and it certainly seems the Fox Body Mustangs are well positioned, given age of Gen X'ers.
|
Good article but... I have to strongly disagree with this statement...
Quote it also seems most people prefer the Hatchback body style to the Notchback or Convertible versions. Unquote More likely they settle for the hatchback. Just my two cents... |

The World's Fastest Mustang
Despite the pop-up ad, the article is a good read -

Don't Buy Cheap Gas
This is an interesting article about AAA's test of gasoline quality. At the bottom of the article are two links. One that leads you to the TOP Tier website with a list of retailers who sell Top Tier rated gasoline in all grades of their fuel. There is another link that takes you to a lengthily PDF document detailing the methodology use in the test and photographic results showing the difference in deposit build up on intake valves and combustion chambers.

Found on FB. I do not recall seeing this photo before of a SSP from Mesquite, TX -
|
:2thumbs: Nice! First time I've seen that pic. Looks like a set of NHP style Buddy Bumpers
|
Wow, very cool!! Just when you think we've seen all the pics out there....
|
Mike (ImEvil1), I see that the number of spambots have decreased (when looking at who is online). Is that something new by the hosting site, or just a random occurrence?

And the Long Distance Award goes to...

The attached pic was taken this morning at the Charleston Cars & Coffee, which is a pretty neat trick since Debbie and I are still in Delaware. Our son, Jack Rab, rode back with us on Wednesday from Charleston, and yesterday he drove the SSP 620 miles back to his home (and our future home - we move next month!). That's one less thing we need to transport down to Charleston! And I'm really pleased that this 28yo car was up for the journey.
|
Cool! They're fun to take on a journey.

Yes, it's even better if the A/C and Cruise are working. :D

I'm glad (in a way) to hear that others are experiencing the same thing. I was beginning to think that MikeM banned my IP address! :p

After relocating to Charleston, I am keeping two of my Mustangs at work inside my shop/warehouse space until our new house is built (we are currently in an apartment). The new place will have a slightly bigger garage than I had in Delaware, but it will still only hold 2 cars (oh well!).
Today I had to move the Mustangs out to receive a shipment at work. Seeing then lined up, I think I will take the middle one home today and give it a bath. :) |
1995 Cobra

I replaced the 88 CHP with a 1995 cobra. Although I did a lot of work on the 1988 CHP it still needed the engine and transmission gone through, body work and paint. The opportunity to own the cobra came up and it has all of the parts that I envisioned doing to the fox: 4 wheel disk brakes, gt40 heads and intake, larger rims and tires and it came with some extras the foxes never had like antilock brakes, airbags and working A/C.

I like your white F-150. I don't know why I like them in white the best (maybe it's because white makes a big vehicle, look even bigger). I picked up a 2001 F-150 4x4 this spring for a daily driver (North Dakota farm truck, so no rust from salted roads) with 132k original miles. I put a front receiver on it for my winch & static plow. I'm sure the rust will start next spring after driving it this winter on MN & WI roads.

Congrats on the Cobra, Jack. I drove ours today and it is a fun little car.
Bob, we recently picked up a 2004 Heritage F150 (previous body style) that almost looks like the twin to yours. Jack needed something more reliable after the tranny went out on his 1989 Ranger (which we will be selling once the trans is rebuilt). The F150 has only 75K miles, and it turns out it was a DSO 83 truck used by a Federal Wildlife Area in Mississippi. |
Not Mustang related

I know this hasn't got anything to do with a Mustang........ BUT lol
I just HAD to show this one off LOL I have been after this guy for 3 years now ! He made a fatal mistake last night. Black Tail ( for you left coasties lol ) 6 X 4 point. ( 10 point for you left coasters ) Must have been close to 200 pounds also. 2 of us could hardly lift him after being gutted. One shot in the neck. He dropped like a rock ! He had a lot of fat on him. An old boy. I had nick named him Big Boy, and he was that for sure ! I think I'll mount the head on this one ! I just had to share the pictures LOL John |
That big ole smile is priceless, John!
