I can attest to the quality of this car, as I bought it from Jim (it is also the source of my name on this site). I put 14k miles on it and sold it to a collector in WI. :D

You know what the funniest part of that "discussion" is? The OP referred to Ron as the "enforcer" in the pic he posted, not Jim, or anyone else here. That's what we call a "clue". :D

For the record, for the millionth time, no one here has any problem whatsoever with participation in parades and sanctioned events. The problem is the extra-curricular nonsense in the parking lots, staged pursuits, fake traffic stops, constant playing with emergency equipment, and general lack of good judgment exhibited by a select few (i.e. driving down the shoulders of our great highways).
