Default 1989 Utah Highway Patrol

Hello everyone!

A link to some of the work done... http://www.specialservicemustang.net...ead.php?t=3240

I truly hate to sell, but I picked up a 60's car and I need a spot in the driveway.
Utah Highway Patrol unit #F-396 slick top. I bought this bone stock in about 2010, with 93,xxx miles. Everything works except spotlights (internal short) and 2/4 directions for the mirrors. Paint is cracking on rear bumper, and has a couple funky spots on the trunk lid. Previous owner did paint, a few interior necessities, and 134a ac upgrade.

Motor is stock, T-5 stock (Mobil 1 ATF synth), rear end stock (3.08 Mobil 1 synth gear oil 75W-90)

All parts listed below were purchased new, and have been on the car between 94k and 109k miles.

Sensors
Bosch 02 (both sides), coolant temp, air temp, pct valve and filter, tad/tab solenoid, egr valve, and evr

BBK shorty headers, stock H pipe, flowmasters
Die Hard battery
Accel dist and coil
Plugs and Ford racing wires
PA 3G 130A alternator upgrade
Headlight lenses and bulbs
Poly motor and tranny mounts
Ford trans crossmember with bushings
Steering rack from 01 GT Mustang (with 93 Taurus outer tie rods)
A1 pump, both fluid lines, and filled with Mobil 1 ATF synth fluid
Summit aluminum radiator
SSP specific fan clutch
Walbro 255 pump in tank

Maximum Motorsports items...

Caster camber plates
Swaybar bushings
Stock front control arms with bushings and ball joints
Stock rear upper control arms with bushings
Sport Series adjustable lower control arms with red poly bushings
Full length subframe connectors
Panhard bar
Hybrid solid steering shaft
Adjustable clutch cable with aluminum quadrant
H&R Super Sport springs front and rear (no isolators in front)
Bilstein shocks front, rear, and dampers

Brake acc from Maximum Motorsports

93 Cobra booster
93 Cobra master cylinder
Stock proportioning valve modified
Wilwood inline proportioning valve for rear bias
Motorcraft brake fluid
Ford e-brake cables (handle modified)
SS braided hose package with fitting adaptors (all 4 corners and splitter above differential)

Brakes

(Purchased from North Racecars as kit)
Fox length Yukon axles
Steel rotors 13" front, 11.65" rear
PBR calipers (dual piston front, single rear)
Hawk pads

Ford racing aluminum driveshaft
SN95 front spindles (new hubs)

Anthracite Bullitt wheels from American Muscle
17x8 front, 17x9 rear (17x8 spare in trunk)
Continental DW extreme contact tires
245/45/ZR17 front
275/40/ZR17 rear

Hurst M-7210-M Billet/Plus shifter
Aluminum pedal covers
New cover

License plates not included

There might be things I'm forgetting, but thats the bulk of it. Car runs great, and is a lot of fun. I've put a lot of time and money into this, but I stopped when it came to the engine. I want a big cam motor.....but live in CA.........so that's why I got the 60's car. Only reason I'm selling it.

Cash only.
Thanks for looking,
Chris

Nice looking SSP! I wonder if late-model CVPI wheels and caps would fit on this, since it is swapped over to 5-lug? (just wondering)

GLWS!!!

Awesome! Way better than my crappy photoshop job. Those look cool as shit! Especially the rear.

When I was on the hunt, I was looking for a department that did their cars in white. SMPV, CO, UT, AZ, etc. But more than anything, I wanted one of those ("urban colors?") blue or gold cars! I just figured I'd never find one.
