Temporary Battery Fix
When I bought my car it had a new battery in it. Unfortunately it's a NAPA battery and every time I popped the hood, the look of it annoyed me. Since it is in great shape I figured I would try giving it a more correct look until it gets replaced down the road with an actual Motorcraft battery. I took a trip to a local Ford dealer, explained my dilemma to one of the parts countermen and asked him for stickers from one of the cores they were going to return. That looks great! I recently saw pictures of a low-mileage 85 GT, and the NAPA battery looked so out of place in an otherwise pristine engine compartment.
