The car is refreshingly clean under hood...

Thanks for the pics, Bobby.

I am still searching for a new hood. If I find one locally, I will be-bop down I-95 & I-85 to drop it off at your place. I will give you a heads up if I am coming down.

I have a red hood you can have. It is a pretty darn nice one and possibly the same color as your original? Not 100% on that but it is red.

edit.....looking at the colors I think mine is a much brighter red....but you can have it if you want it.

Thanks Jim! I may take you up on that if the one I found locally fizzles out.

I will be looking at a hood this weekend. The price is fine, but I want to make sure its condition is A-ok for Bobby. I already have a hood (on the car) that would require quite a few hours of shop time to repair, so I'd like to find one that won't need a lot of prep. If all looks good, then I will deliver it myself. Although it will be great to see Bobby again, I'd like to see firsthand the car that I bought at the end of October.

Did someone pull the AC off of it?

Yes. The A/C was long gone when Ryan had the car. I understand the motor has an A/C bypass and pulley kit on it. So I will be looking for the correct parts this winter to put A/C back in the car. I will probably replace the heater core too, since it is bypassed as well.
