Default 1993 7k car for sale.....again

This one has been around the block and is for sale again. The car was one of 7 or 8 cars piggybacked onto the state order that year by the dealer (Jackie Jones Ford). There were 6 silver cars and 2 white cars if memory serves me right.

Previously owned by Daniel Carpenter, Mike Morrison, David Philipkoski, another guy in Alabama and now Madison Automotive.

I have seen the car in person and it is super nice. It is an investment quality car that will end up on Barrett Jackson's auction show someday. While never owned by the state of South Carolina or deployed as an in-service police car it is still an SS package car nonetheless.

Hopefully a true collector will pick this one up and give it a good home.

It will probably sell, but it will be to another dealer who wants to flip it.......again......which is the life this car has lived anyway.

There are several cars like this out there but this seems to be the only one getting passed around. Maybe I should start an SSP rescue non-profit org and rescue this one??

Default It should be rescued

Its too bad but who ever buys cant drive it or it will lose value. I suspect it will sell for more than anyone could recover unless it is placed on permanent display. Still it could be an IRA if anyone could resist driving it. I KNOW I couldnt do that. Charlie

+1.

Seems to be alot of that going on lately.

It's a nice car, but never saw service.

IMO, it's because it is a 5-speed, regardless of whether it will be driven or not.

the low mileage ssp cars are always desireable however it is super rare to find one that was actually in service as a patrol car. There are some unmarked government, postal cars etc out there but not many cars with low miles that were used by a police agency. My 93 SCHP car only has 43k but it was wrecked in service. It will be like new when I get it finished though.....with a clear title and clean car fax.

SSP Gary has an excellent low mile Santa Clara car also. super nice car and the price was very good on that car.

If I bought the car I would bag it and tag it and let it sit for 10 to fifteen years in a bubble/climate capsule. then call Barrett and sell it for some kind of insane stupid money that some nit-wit has burning a hole in his pocket...

seller is describing this car as "one of the seven wonders of the SSP world"... the reserve is near 30k and I am betting the bidding ends at ....oh lets say.....29,499.99
