Default New Crown Vic marked as damaged unit

This a new 2011 car for sale by dealership. They dont disclose that the Ford window sticker has 0000G000 DAMAGED UNIT on the last line. I have asked them to explain the damage but they havent returned my e-mail yet.

Interesting...looks like the BIN is barely under MSRP.

Yea, They are dreaming if they think anybody will hit that. I like how they say Ford overproduces sometimes so that someone will assume they mean that is why they have the car. I will straighten them out. They just sent me an e-mail saying they will get back to me tomorrow. ( they must need time to get a good story together)

While they sit back, hope the car sells to someone who hasn't picked up on what you have in the meantime. You should report it to ePay.

It looks like a damaged in transit issue when it hit MD. Must have happened on transport and was returned back to Dearborn before the title was issued if that's the case (Autocheck report does not show damage). That is extremely low mileage on that type of vehicle.

I sent e-pay the true window sticker so they can take action on it.

Will be interesting. I find it fascinating ePay chases down $10 blue light sales while letting people sell $15-$20K "restored' Crown Vics that shouldn't be allowed on the road. All about the benjamins for ePay since they make very little on the blue light and so much more in fees on the car.

Looks like it was to be a County unit in MD. I don't think they will get 29K for it. Maybe 21-24k. Ford would have repaired it correctly. Sometimes it is as little as Paint Damage.
