Thank you, Andy! I have really enjoyed working on the VIN Project, and do not regret the untold hours I have spent since 2011 making it a valuable resource for the hobby. It has been a group effort for sure!

Default 1988 FHP saved in Puerto Rico

I just picked up a 1988 FHP Mustang here in PR. It has all the markings of a SSP, Certified Calibration speedometer, holes on the left and right side of the center console, DSHMV sticker inside the glove compartment, a pillar hole for spotlight, 2 buck tags, drivers side trunk release button and in the roof line where it meets the rear drivers side window you can see the tan color under the black paint.

Hi there John... Not really but the seller didn't exactly know what he had. After I explained to him and showed him all the details he didn't seem interested in keeping it, so I took it off his hands. Just couldn't let it go to waste and later see it at some track all chopped up.

Here's a 1984 FHP that showed up on FB not too long ago -

It is painted like a GSP car, but it is a Florida SSP. I understand that it was recently sold and will be restored.

There is another confirmed FBI car in the same batch with the same DSO number.

The other one listed is our car. We picked it up in 2012 with extensive hail damage. It is actually at the body shop now.
