Do you pull a car on that trailer with a Ford Ranger?

Sure... You have to stay on top of your gearing and run at the hills and it's not
something you want to do ALL the time with a 4.0 your car is lookin good

Yes, nice trailer... I imagine with a lite trailer like that you can tow a lot of stuff with a Ranger...

Back home to Idaho! Hope you had a safe trip.

so if your 4.0 will do it will my Ford FreeStar minivan with a 4.2 do it? Its rated to tow up to 3500 lbs..whats your Ranger rated to tow up to?

The Ranger Edge has a higher tow capacity then the standard Ranger (and i am
exceeding the TOW rating of the truck) but common sense has to be applied to this
set up.If i had a BIG boat i towed to the lake every weekend or was hauling cars
every weekend i would get a bigger truck. for now this works for an occasional pull.
additionally the Trailer is set up with electric brakes and the truck has large tires so
it's not a control problem. the only problem is power and i adjust that with gearing.

also................thanks Matt all went great!! good to see the black n white in the
garage!! will have decals on soon.....soon as i take care of the yard work
around here!!!

Glad to hear that the trip was great. No issue road trips are what it's all about.

I am anxiously waiting to see what your car looks like with the decals applied...

radio.and every one that passed by wanted to know all about the car (hate it) when
the decals are on i will drive it less....way too many questions from non car people
.....a car show would be different...I think?
Are you the Police .................................................. .......No
Oh when it is restored will you give it back to the CHP....No
Why are you making a Mustang look like a police car?
and on and on and on......stay tuned ! the fun has just started..

You're too funny! I have Police stop by my house from time to time to see what I've done to it now and also see what else is hiding in the garage. They are all "DO IT.... We love seeing those cars restored." I was stopped by a trooper just so he could check out my 85 a few weeks ago. He said is it a DPS Mustang and I told him it was CHP and he said you just hardly ever see these cars anymore.

Yes some people ask dumb questions already.
