That spotlight might have been added. It looks like it's too high on the A pillar.

Default 1988 MO SSP on ebay

thats not a bad price compared to the prices I have seen in the past,,looks like maybe she needs a little tlc on the rear driver side quarter,,but is all there and the interior looks clean and supost to run good and 115,000 on the clock is not to bad,,,,,,the car is posted here too you can get that car for 3000 maybe less

To my understanding and from the many pics I've viewed, the MSHP didn't outfit the 88's with spotlights, but who's to say whether a Trooper asked for something to be added along the way. Missouri state law doesn't (or at least didn't) allow the MSHP to sell their vehicles to civilians...it had to be other State agencies. As a result many (or most) of their SSPs eneded up going ot other police departments. Among the many possibilities is also the spotlight was added later by another department.

MOHP did not install spotlights on the 1988 mustangs. I was in federal court all day and have to return tomorrow but I will try to find the pics I have of all 17 of them on the evoc track. None of them have spotlights.

congrats as they are rare. I will send you a PM later this evening after I get home with the contact information you will need for the MOHP. If you contact them they will probably put together a packet of information for you regarding your car and the MOHP mustang program.
