Got to meet Mick at Charlotte, now we need to drag Mike to Savannah so I can say I've met the .net trifecta!!
I don't know about all that, but you might get to meet my Better-Half, too! Details are still being finalized to see if Debbie & I can make the 12 hour drive that weekend. It is a busy time of year for us. We may stop in Charleston to pick up Jack along the way.

Ok guys no more secrets... LOL

But seriously,
I have been given verbal approval that GSP 1235 will be attending Savannah...

I have also been working with the Vice president and the National show director of the Savannah Mustang Club. They are very interested in doing a GSP display of all our restored & as auctioned GSP Mustangs celebrating the unveiling of the States Refurbished GSP. The States car will be the main center attraction and our cars will be surrounding it. It has yet to be decided if the GSP display will be displayed inside or outside. There is very limited space inside I'm told but with all the attention this project is suspected of getting " IT IS POSSIBLE" it could be placed inside. We will know more after the next meeting two Saturdays from now...

Also there is an invite to all retired and active Troopers to attend the display for historical and Photo purposes... Sort of a meet and greet...

For the ones that are known to be coming we will make a diligent effort to make contact and invite the assigned Trooper to attend the show as well...

So with that said...

Who will be bringing a GSP to Savannah?

This will be "display only" no judging, but we will have to register. We will wait until after the meeting in two weeks to know exactly how to register. Cost should be no more than the $35

Cars will be displayed as a group...

Any question please PM me...

Oh REALLY?!?!?! I saw what you did there with your signature change. Are you building your own SSP Museum?

I wish!!

Unfortunately 1537 went to a new home to make way for the GSP. So I still have the same amount of cars I already had.

So we now have;
The States 91 (GSP Project)
Kapracings 92
Bullitt1609 91
ex91gsp 91
Possum885 91
Nighthawk756's 91

Still uncertain are;
Mustang crazy's 91
Bonafide's 88

Are there any others out there that may be interested in taking part in this event?

The participating GSP's will be grouped together and surrounding the State of Georgia's GSP mustang. All part of the unveiling of the newly refurbished SSP for Parade/PR uses. There will be a strong GSP presence and photo shoot for the GSP at this time (exact time to be released soon). The GSP project will stay on display until Saturday afternoon. The GSP is very appreciative of all the donations and hard work involved in the refurbishment of their last GSP Mustang SSP. They are very excited about being able to once again use the Mustang in PR events/ Parades/car shows and such... Greg and I will be presenting the GSP with a letter including the names of everyone that contributed to this cause. I want to personally thank everyone that has donated thus far...
Thank You!

This has been a incredible journey so far and something the SSP community can be very proud of. Granted we are not completely finished yet but we are on track to be finished by mid September ( plenty of time before Savannah).
