Default Wanted 83 steering wheel

Does anyone have a steering wheel like this in good shape? I need one for my 1983 GSP SSP... Unless anyone has any info that my GSP came with a different steering wheel. Mine had aftermarket on it when I bought it... Thanks, Bobby

I'll check later to see if I have a spare.

The center cap is going to be hard to find.

I found a 1982 6 banger in great condition they are parting out in a couple weeks. Automatic.
Interior blue, seats, dash, center console etc. All in tact, even hub caps.
Looks like a driver. no damage to body either. In really good condition, if anyone is looking for parts, let me know. I'll see what I can get when it's available.

Any pics of interior?

Bobby,

If that wheel has stitching on it (it appears that it does in the pic), then it's not the correct one.

I was able to make a center emblem for my CSP car by buying an NOS one from another Ford product, then undoing the "plastic weld" job that held the center section in. I replaced the center section, which was in great shape, into the emblem, and then remelted the tabs, securing it into place. The whole thing looks brand new now.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Mike,
Curious about stitching? This is from the untouched 83 5.0 4spd donor coupe in my 83 GSP thread( the black one). I'm almost positive this is the original wheel in that car. So you mean the GSP would have had a different type of steering wheel? I wanna put the correct one back in. Thanks :-)

That steering wheel (Sport, 4-spoke, black, vinyl-wrapped) is the standard GL and GT wheel.

Mick is right....I had a pre-pre senior moment. I bought the wrong wheel for my 83 DPS car and mixed the two up when I responded. My apologies.
