82 Chp viny roof trim.
Does anyone know when they started using the vinyl roof trim part on the paint break from the roof to the quarter?

I've seen them on the 79-82's. I wished I'd pulled all those I've passed over in the local yards, but that was before the SSP bug hit and I did not know LOL...

As I remember right it was part of a specific trim package. I'm not sure if California had it or not but I know the 83 Texas cars had them because of the trim package they bought plus we have pictures to document it,

It's my understanding that the earliest cars did not have the trim. Trying find out when they started installing them.

1979 did have them. I believe the option would have been related to the Ghia package? Below is NPD's Foxbody number 1. That sure is a hard part to come by. Took me a long time to find the driver side.
