That's great to hear, John. I think this is the car where the factory window sticker disappeared before being sold by a previous owner, but we were able to get a picture of it for the VIN Project a while back before it went missing. Although this SSP does not have any police history, it still is an interesting car IMO.

Ken sent me a few more photos to add to the page for his 1989 blue & white SMPV Mustang -

The interesting thing about his CHP Assignment Card is that the color is typed as BLUE/GRAY, which confirms that it was originally put into service as a SMPV, rather than being a B&W patrol unit that was pulled off the road and repainted.
