Default 1990 N.C. Highway Patrol License Plate

I'm looking for a 1990 North Carolina Highway Patrol license plate for my NCHP SSP. Tags were marked HP - XXXX.

Your best bet is probably going to be on ePay. When I bought a 1990 plate for the 1990 NCSHP SSP I used to own it was found on ePay, wasn't cheap and I looked for quite a bit of time. If memory serves me correct at the time they were issued new plates each year with the current year on them. Couple other sites you can google and find that deal in old license plates too. Those would be worth keeping an eye on as well. At that time when I was on the prowl, I would see NCSHP plates on them. I still have an 1989 NCSHP plate I bought from a retired NCSHP Trooper...the plates was his and used on his in-service NCSHP SSP Mustang he was assigned.

I really don't think anybody around here would be confused on what I mean with my ePay context. If so probably lots of other things they are confused about as well.

I found a like new tag with the registration card from the local ALPCA contact person for $35 shipped. He also threw in a personalized "90 STANG" plate for free. This group is a great source if you're looking for police plates.
