90 Texas DPS Saved
I found and saved this 90 TX DPS SSP out of a drag racing chassis shop about 1 1/2 years ago in east Texas. About to go under the cutting torch(aka Knife). Did some trading to secure the car. Sold the car locally and has been in the resto process since. The new owner is making it a slicktop with spots,even though it carried a light bar. This car had crystal blue interior. Car was in pieces but was complete. Stock buck tag was missing but the SSP tag was there. All the internal DPS door stickers were sanded off as well. Title still had the TX DPS as 1st owner.

I know its ashame. Heres another picture of a Austin Texas PD SSP turned into a drag car. This guy over reved the stock 302 and knock the rods out of the block. It was in this Mustang shop getting fixed but its now out of business. Not sure what became of the old girl.
