1983 GSP Mustang (un)marked
Found a undercover GSP Mustang listed as Dark Brown.
VIN # 1FABP26F0DF218167 Will be interesting to see if it is a SSP or not. I have Perm / Badge & Post #'s also. Would love for this car to turn up one day! Will be trying to make contact with the officer that drove it Friday evening when his shift starts back. ( Hoping he'll have some pics! ).

Awesome! That'll be fun tracking down whether it's an ssp or not.
I also found 2 undercover 1992 Alabama coupes that we had but I don't think they were ssp's. One thing that I found in the 17 folders of the marked units, was they taped spare keys to the back of the folders. And looking in the folders for the 2 undercovers, there was two keys instead if just one. So that leads me to believe they weren't ssp's.

I'm gonna get a Marti report on it just to see. I'd also like to do a Vin check just to see if it's still around... Brad, I think you like this stuff as much as I Do :-) LOL

It is a single VIN, i.e. not in a group of two or more consecutive 5.0L coupes. Autocheck and Carfax each show 1 record, which is probably just the "manufactured and shipped to dealer" entry in 1983.

Remember Single Key was an option not always taken. Texas DPS did 2 key in 90.
