Thanks so much! The blue came out brighter than I thought it would, but now I cant wait to paint the rest of the car. seeing the other regatta blues keeps me encouraged to finish this. I started detailing some stuff and I am putting it back on now.
I love painting. used to do it for a living 25 years ago. now it is just a hobby.
(and hard on the ol body)
86nessp, I am still trying to piece together clues about where my car served, all I know is it served in a local agency here in AZ. All documentation has been purged at the MVD and carfax said it transferred to a new owner in 2003. The only clue is a G.R.E.A.T. key fob I found under the seat. I am praying for a build sheet when I pull the interior apart.
I will post some more pics as the progress continues.

Love that car Hector! I can't wait until mine is that nice. Thanks for the octane boost!
Started to detail and assemble a few things today.

Well I started the engine rebuild. I kept the bore stock, it only needed a good hone and cleaning and valve job. I painted the block and heads the correct light grey and painted the intakes and valve covers the correct color.
here are a few pics.

I will be installing it shortly. more pics to follow....
