Default 1993 Claimed Pineville, NC SSP for sale

Not mine

Quote:
1993 Mustang coupe/notchback SSP, 108k miles, 5.0 auto, basically very original. Was Pineville, NC police car. White with black interior. Have copy of the police title and most of the police maintenance records. Original body panels with a couple of dings and some spots that were not expertly touched up, but still a nice presentable car. Exterior trim is pretty worn but I am in the process of restoring some of it including the quarter windows. Interior in above average condition for a cop car, but of course there are some holes for police equipment. Taken out of service in 2003 and under 1k miles put on since. New plugs, wires, cap/rotor, and oil. I have a second set of 10-hole wheels with very nice tires that go with it also. E-mail for more details and I will reply with a link to a picture gallery and my phone number. Price is $8k cash.

We have weak documentation on PF202871 as being a Pineville, North Carolina SSP. This may not be the same car as being sold in this thread, but it could be. I sent an email to the seller to ask...

VIN is PF202869
DSO is 21-0816

Same DSO, exterior paint color (white), interior trim color (black), and transmission (AOD) as PF202870, which is already in the VIN Project as a claimed Clayton Co Ga car (unconfirmed).

I am wondering why this car, if it really was an original Pineville order, went through the Atlanta DSO and not the Charlotte DSO. Pineville is a suburban town just outside of the Charlotte.

Buz Bowling bought both of the Pineville cars when they came out of service.

He is also a member here, but I haven't seen him post in quite some time. He's also over over CC.com.

Not sure on it being an original Pineville order or not, but they were both in service there.

I wondering now if the two cars were procured by Pineville after one or more agencies that originally ordered them were done using them. Same for the purported Clayton Co GA car.

We need to get some CF or AC reports done on that group of 14 and see if we can figure out which states they all went to originally.
