Default This ones great...

I love to see what some of them become, after retirement. The door sticker is just classic!

That one has been for sale on again and off again for the past year and a half. I think he originally paid around $3000 or $3500. It's listed on 4EP for $4800 obo. I doubt it sells, even though it's probably nicer than the one that is painted black and tan in Ft. Lauderdale. The guy in Ft. Lauderdale listed his several times and couldn't get 3k for it. The '84's just aren't popular.

I always liked this car, thought it had an interested life after service. I think restoring it to it's current board of education look is the way to go. After 2 years and 3 times being listed no one has fixed the carburator or drivability issue with it? Poor car!

Tom Tate bought the car from the school board. He spent alot of money of nos parts and he fixed the carb.

The car should be restored to FHP glory, not as some "school district car" .

It is a great car to restore and will bring plenty of money in the coming years.

That said, I imagine some Ricky Racer, wanna be resto modder will end up ruining it.

I see nothing wrong with taking a former state government car turned County government "school District" car back to it's second life as the school district car. I would guess that this is a very rare example of the ssp lot that took on a unique role within another government agency, albiet a suburban school district, when most other ssp's were getting butchered up by the public. I agree that this car will be worth $$ in the future, however it will bring more money as the school district car. Everyone has seen an FHP car.

I have to agree with Jim on this one. It's a 1984 FHP car. Have you ever seen one at a show? 4-eyed SSP cars are pretty rare to begin with, but there seems to be many more '85-'86 cars out there than '83-'84s.

I love original, just like they left the factory floor. Guess I am with Mike and Jim on this one.
