Default GSP Mustang Production numbers

I notice that as much as we've discussed this here among ourselves, there is no info that pops up if you google "GSP Mustang production numbers" except the inaccurate numbers of 500 or more on another website. So for future clarity I thought I'd post up the accurate numbers with a title that will hopefully pop up when future enthusiast hit the search button... Like I said I know this is old news to us but this is more for future web searches to help the new guys...

GSP used a total of 310 SSP Mustangs plus 5 non SSP Mustangs. First were the initial test cars consisting of 3 1982 silver GT's & one burgundy 1982 GT (Jimmy Crump's car). The following year GSP purchased one brown 1983 non SSP coupe.

So for the record...
Break down of SSP Mustangs purchased by GSP as follows...

1983 - 10
1984 - zero
1985 - zero
1986 - zero
1987 - zero
1988 - 100
1989 - 42
1990 - 55
1991 - 83
1992 - 20
1993 - zero

For a grand total of 310 SSP Mustangs.

Anyone looking to find info on a GSP Mustang can pm me the last 8 of vin and I'll provide all info I have on the car. Or verify it is or is not a GSP SSP...

FYI, you have 1986 listed twice, you missed 1987 (I assume that year was zero too?).

Bobby: Did you even get the VINs for the 1982 GT test cars?

Bobby, thanks for posting this up. Hopefully it will help correct some bad information on the web about the GSP cars (plus it may pull in traffic for this site )
