Default Help with FHP car number

Can someone do a carfax check for me on vin# 1FABP40E7JF245261. Its a mustang i purchsed in 1992, sold in 1997 and i'm going to buy it back in the coming weeks. It should be a FHP car. I'm trying to find the accident report and car number.
Thanks J

You can no longer get the accident reports from FHP. Best bet might be to try and find a nice person at the FL DMV that will try to look up the original title and with any luck it will be wrote on it somewhere.

I was able to do this with my '88 FHP but they could not find the unit number....but the guy was nice enough to look. Based on others experience it will just depend who answers your call as to how hard they will help you.

GL!

If you run a CARFAX, it may include your car's original title number (I've seen that before when running reports). With that number, you may find a sympathetic ear at Florida DMV who could search for a copy of the original title, which may have the FHP number written on it. It's a long-shot, but certainly worth the try.
