It's mine. You must have ended up in the forum. The forum will be open for posting on April 1st.

It's not intended to be a basic ssp mustang site. Its focused on ALL special service vehicles including the LTD, Camaro, Explorer, Tahoe, etc and includes non traditional vehicles like the Buick Grand National, older non B4C Camaros, newer Mustangs.

It's not vehicle specific, but more purpose specific along with the fact that it's not really for traditional police cars like the CrownVic, Impala, and so forth.

It brings people together that have these vehicles with a unique background.

Case in point with the non-traditional police cars, I drove the Camaro I have in my avatar, but it wasn't a special service / police package vehicle.

PSP used this Mustang (below), but it wasn't a SSP.

That's who I want to appeal to.

It almost sounds like the land of misfit toys.

Default YOu new site

Jim, that is an outstanding start to a great site. I wish you all the luck and cannot wait to see it take off. The information already on it is fantastic. I look forward to seeing what gets added and the forums taking off. Good luck

Thanks.

I've been a forum owner (I have a Ford Ranger forum) for 10-years now, and I'm also active here, .org, copcar.com, and elightbars.org.

Having experience patrolling in a non-police package Camaro, owning a SSP Mustang, and having a basic interest in police & fire vehicles, I wanted to create something unique to these vehicles.

The hardest part is getting people to check it out. I don't want to spam other sites, but I'll respond to threads like this.

I've seen discussions on sites for Explorer owners and Tahoe owners looking for info on their special service vehicle, and thought it would be fun to create a site for them.

In my research, I've found some interesting, non police package vehicles. I own a Ford Bronco II, and even found a photo of a Georgia State Patrol Bronco II. Not a police package, but interesting.

Some may poke fun at it, but it's what I have an interest in, and just want to share the interest with others. Heck, I've even had the guy who owns a former FBI Buick Grand National send me photos and information.

Hopefully it will catch on. If it does, there could be some interesting vehicles show up.

told him that?
