What if Ford had made a 1986 SSP convertible?
Would it have looked something like this? Just drove it home from storage on Wednesday. On Tuesday I replaced the stock white leather seats with gray cloth Corbeau CR1 seats. Yesterday I picked up the Argent painted Escort rear center caps from the body shop, and now I'm ready for it's first car show of the season this Sunday. All the wheels have their original paint (1 is NOS) and the front caps are NOS. Hopefully I'll have another 86 SSP someday to use these on, but in the mean time I think they look pretty good on the convert.
