Default I had new Mufflers installed.

I was getting a little tired of the Drone at highway speeds and with a Road trip approaching to Mustang Ok. for the Nationals, I wanted to do something. I was looking at Walker for something quiet but they only have a 2 1/4 Muffler and my old system was 2 1/2 Dynomax Cat Back. On Dynmax's Web site a few months back they were coming out with a Drone free replacement that is 2 1/2. As soon as they were available I placed my order. Summit was the only one that could come through in a timly fashion. Yesterday I had them installed and they do as thay say. NO DRONE !! You do get a little exhaust not when you get on it. But at Highway Speeds nothing. It sounds like a stock virgin Mustang. They do offer a 2 1/4 Muffler. In my opinion Dynomax offers the best replacement Exhaust system for our cars including the Cats. Provided you are not able to find NOS Stuff. I hope that they will offer this in a Cat Back kit but for now you will have to piece together the kit. Any questions PM me.
Here is the link.

Tom, wanting a quiet Mustang is the first sign of getting old. Enjoy the quiet trip to Oklahoma.

Were these perhaps Dynomax's new VT muffler? They ones with the valve that opens when you get on the loud pedal?
