Default New 86 FHP owner

Hi everyone, picked up an 86 FHP a few weeks ago, it was owned by another member on this forum that decided to part with it. I traded my 95 bronco for it and couldnt be happier. Its not much to look at but the motor has a fresh build and the car is in very good shape other than the crappy paint. The interior is dirty but I think I can get most of it to clean up.I started buying things for it like the light bar, vascar, radar, vent visors, and siren. The plan is to put it back close to in service condition as I can.A real good friend of mine has been a Trooper for almost 34 years and drove one of these mustangs. This is going to be a fun project! The vin is 1FABP26M3GF248668

Welcome to the forum. That looks like a great starting point for a restoration. Your SSP was already in our VIN Project, but I added your photo of the Buck Tags to the page for your car:

Please keep us posted on your progress, and feel free to ask questions...

I think you have a very nice project going on there. A little elbow grease, and some paint...

Much better than what im working with.

Have fun and take your time.

Definitely a lot of elbow grease but the car is really solid and for the most part all there.
