good info here:http://www.sspcentral.com/library/unity.shtml

Found in old posts:
The shaft lengths on the CV and Caprice lights are longer than what the Mustangs took but they can be switched out.
Unity spotlight 225K or 225GM will both work. Mount brackets 221 for RIGHT/passenger side, 221RH

Jack is right, use those tube #'s ( rods to go through the A pillar ) and use Unity installation kit bracket ( for the outside A pillar ) 221 for the driver side, 221RH for the passenger side.
You will need shorter tubes ( rods ) or they will stick out further in the car, possibly out side of the car as well.

You can still buy these kits from Unity. I believe the tubes also.
The kit comes with instructions. It's pretty easy to do. Just take your time.

Are they brass cone shaped spots ? Or the newer plastic with a flat spot instead of a cone ?

Not sure... Measure the A shaft length and compare to the chart.
K shaft are what it should have and GM shafts work
