Default New Guy

Hey everyone. I bought CHP 0513 from TR1 back in November and had it shipped to Atlanta where it's slowly coming back to life. The car is awesome. It's incredibly original and it's going to stay that way. The paint is original, less the decklid, and the upholstery is in good shape. The car has a serious patina to it making it look very, very cool. I do want to color match the decklid and possibly the driver door though where the black spray paint is now gone and the original white is showing again. Though some of you may disagree, I believe this car is better left as untouched and original as possible. The interior will be brought back to life with a new carpet and headliner and an original tan dash pad I found will be dyed the correct color and installed. An original set of hub caps are on the car and the correct spot lights should arrive on Friday. The carb is getting rebuilt this week and a laundry list of Motorcraft tune-up parts are on the way. There are pictures of the car on this website from when it was for sale. I will post the current pictures when I get home later in the week. Great website-thanks for directing me over here Mike, I look forward to talking to you all!

Glad you made it over.

Your car is unbelievably original. I don't think you'll hear anything negative from anyone here about preserving it.

Looking forward to the pics.
